That’s exactly how we ought to think in our everyday lives. Think nothing less than what God called you to be. When you hate yourself, you disrespect the God in you. You basically say to God that He made a mistake when it came to creating and forming you. Keep in mind Genesis 1:26 where God said “Let us make man in our image”. If He created you in His image, there’s no way you are a failure or a mistake! Also read Genesis 1:21 where God saw every thing that he had made and He said it was very good. So make sure you confess daily, “I’m not just good, but I’m VERY GOOD”! Who are we to disrespect and twist what God has already spoken over our lives? God knows your capabilities because He gave them to you in the first place. Just allow him time to stop on by and make himself at home with you.
